Google Draw Characters in Spirit Bear by Ben Mickelson

Good Morning March 17, 2020

Good Morning and Happy St. Patrick's Day! I sure do appreciate that many of you are checking school email and GoogleClassroom. I want you to know that I care about each and every one of you and I am hoping that everyone is safe and healthy.

As teachers plan for learning opportunities that will be provided over the next few weeks, I hope you are finding ways to keep busy at home. My only request is that you read every day (books? Newsela? listen to audiobooks?) but I hope you are getting a chance to help your family out by cooking, cleaning, helping out with younger siblings, and doing laundry. Remember to be kind to your family and support your friends/ classmates from a distance during this time. Send me an email to let me know how you are doing and how you are keeping busy and we can create a document to give people ideas on what they can do over the next few weeks of "social distancing".

Please let me know if you or your family is having a hard time or has needs that are not being met and I will make sure you get help. I will be checking my work email every day.

Love, Mrs. Allen
